How to request account deletion

Follow the steps below. You can use the in-app flow (or API) to deactivate your account immediately. For full erasure of your personal data from our systems, contact us using the email address below so we can verify your request.

  1. Open CityGuide Sign in with the same account (email, phone, or Google sign-in) you use on Google Play.
  2. Use the in-app “Delete account” option In the app, open your profile or account settings and choose delete / close account. The app calls our service to deactivate your account so you can no longer sign in.
  3. Optional: Confirm via our API Authenticated clients may call:
    DELETE https://cityguide.stackxtech.in/api/v1/auth/delete-account/
    with header Authorization: Bearer <access_token> and JSON body {"confirm": "delete"}. This performs the same deactivation as the app.
  4. Request complete data deletion (if needed) If you need your profile and activity data removed from our databases—not only deactivation—email us from the address on your account and ask for “full account and data deletion.” We will verify ownership and process the request as required by applicable law.

Our team is configuring a dedicated inbox. Until it appears here, use the developer contact email shown on our Google Play store listing for the same request text (“full account and data deletion”) and include the email address you use to sign in to CityGuide.
